1. Minutes from the last Presidium Meeting

All decisions from the previous two meetings have either been implemented or are currently in the process of implementation.

In the follow-up to the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM):

1. Defendants Notified:

The Presidium has sent the necessary letters to the defendants within the required timeframe, adhering to the EGM’s decisions.

2. Statements Received:

The Presidium has also received the requested statement from Adam Kiraly and Greta Mercs. This was in line with the EGM delegates’ instructions.

3. Clearance to Compete:

Following the receipt of their statement, Adam Kiraly and Greta Mercs are cleared to compete in the upcoming WRRC (World Rock’n’Roll Confederation) events.

This indicates that the matters raised during the EGM have been handled, and the couple’s eligibility to participate in future events has been confirmed.

2. Finance

MKI and ME informed the Presidium members that, in general, there are no outstanding invoice, except some part of starting Fee  and the whole competition fee for the event in Cork, Ireland in May 2024.

The organizer has sent an explanation and problems with the budget and the request for payment in instalments

(209) The Presidium approved the payment in instalments for the outstanding fees from Cork. The remaining starting fee must be paid by December 31, 2024, and the rest until the end of February 2025. If the Fees are not paid by then the statutory consequences will follow.

The discussion followed connected to the Prize money payment and other payments to the dancers and federations following the Fee Scale.

Marina Eskolin pointed out again that many members do not send Invoices for the money for RR Main Class Free Style couples and Boogie Woogie main Class couples for Wch and Ech.

(210) The WRRC Presidium reminds all members that all claims for Wch and Ech reimbursement for couples must be sent at the latest on December 31, 2024.

(211) All payments of different prize money for the year 2024 will be made no later than January 31, 2025, if claims are received by January 15, 2025.

(212) The Presidium approved the purchase of missing, outdated or nonfunctional computer equipment.

3. WRRC celebration in Prague

The Presidium discussed the details of the WRRC celebration in Prague. All invitations to the dancers have been sent. The format of the award ceremony has been finalized, including supporting videos and a PowerPoint presentation. Detailed information for the honorary guests will be prepared and sent approximately two weeks before the event. The deadline for confirmation of participation of the guests is October 25, 2024, after which a reminder will be issued.

The gifts for the athletes will be distributed in Cracow and Prague.

4. WORLD CUP FINAL

In its previous meeting (decision 197), the Presidium decided that the World Cup Final 2024 will be organized for all categories for which it is applicable. Couples are eligible to participate if they are placed in the World Cup 2024 ranking.

To avoid any misunderstandings, the Presidium has approved the following clarification:

(213) The limitation of number of couples who can take part at the WC final is as written in WC Final rules = maximum 8 couples per member federation.

Boogie commission has sent one more request to change the rules for final battles for the 3rd and the 1st place. As already decided at the previous meeting, the Presidium didn’t change the decision. No changes in the competition format are possible for 2024.

5. TWG 2029, EXPANSION, MARKETING

Lena Arvidsson prepared the initial reports and proposals for all three projects. The Presidium reviewed the documents and approved the planned activities, as well as the proposed task force members. It is crucial that we move from planning to action.

It would be good to discuss expansion and TWG issues with different WDSF members during the AGM in Warsaw.

The President pointed out that some of the activities relate to the renewal of associated membership contract with WDSF.

(214) The Presidium confirmed plans for TWG2029 project, Expansion project and Marketing project. The proposed task force members will be contacted and after the groups are confirmed the names will be published. The leader of each task force is responsible for contacting other proposed members

(215) Denis Lilih will contact Chantal Epp from ClicknClear to get the basic number of songs (10-15) for licensing approval for TWG and connected events.

(216) Bartlomiej Kobylanski is responsible to see the options to translate the WRRC Home page to Chinese and Spanish.

6. Rules

Denis Lilih reported about the activities of the Sport commission and planned proposals. Timewise the most important thing is that we receive the proposals planned for 2025 in due time. The ones for 2026 must be ready before next PM.

After the EGM in August, the Presidium identified the need to create and publish a formal document that clearly defines the rights and obligations of each registered athlete. This is aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and a clear understanding of the responsibilities within the organization.

(217) The Presidium accepted the document “Code of conduct for WRRC athletes and officials”.

Boogie Woogie rules.

Following the already accepted changes in August, the Presidium approved also:

(218) Adjusting the tempo for BW Juniors to 48 – 50 BPM

Adjusting the tempo for BW Main Class to 50 – 51 BPM

Age limitation seniors: Both partner 35+

7. Commissions

The Presidium discussed possible new members in the commissions and accepted the following.

(219) The Presidium approved Elizabeta Gruden (SLO) as a new member of RR Judging commission and Szymon Szpulecki (POL) as a new member of Music commission.

8. Any other item

During the weekend, the Presidium was informed about the participation of the couple Petra Anna Fekete and David Papp at the Acrobatic World Cup, organized by the WFASD in Astana. Upon receiving this information, the Presidium immediately notified the Hungarian Federation.

Response from the Hungarian Federation: The Hungarian Federation responded, confirming that:

1. Petra Anna Fekete and David Papp are no longer members of the Hungarian Federation.

2. The couple will no longer compete under the WRRC (World Rock’n’Roll Confederation).

This indicates a clear distinction between their involvement in the WFASD events and their former status within WRRC-affiliated competitions.

9. Next Presidium meeting

The next meeting is planned for the 3rd week in January 2025.

The meeting was adjourned on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 12:30.
