(242) The Presidium nominated Jiri Hais and Bartlomiej Kobylanski as eVoting scrutineers for the AGM.

Following the report of the Sport commission with one member being inactive and the other resigned (KK) and in the view of planned changes of RR rules, an additional comission member would be needed.

(243) The Presidium added Tobias Bludau from Germany as a member of sport commission

3. Finance

ME reported about the outstanding depths:
– Greece and Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH) haven’t paid the membership fee for 2025 yet
– The competition fee for Ireland is still not paid in full

(244) BIH must pay the membership fee before Sunday, otherwise they have no voting right at the GM

(245) The outstanding amounts for the Cork competition need to be paid latest by May 31, 2025, otherwise the couples can’t participate at the Budapest competition.
Instalments are possible.

4. Competitions

There was an extensive discussion about competitions, changes after the deadline, free dates for national events, and similar topics. The Presidium acknowledges that changes to the WRRC calendar impact the calendars of member federations. However, we continue to face challenges due to the growing number of competitions and want to emphasize the importance of WRRC events for our top categories.

The office has received additional applications from national federations that conflict with already approved dates on the WRRC calendar.

Following the guidance from the General Meeting to focus on MC FS and in response to several requests to organize a missing European Championship—where possible—since such events often contribute significantly to national Olympic committee rankings, the Presidium has made some adjustments and approved new competitions. These changes also include a change of free date(s) for national events in spring 2026. With 15 months remaining, the Presidium is confident that all member federations will have enough time to adjust their calendars.

In any case, the Presidium strongly advises all national federations and potential competition
organizers not to book a venue before the event is officially confirmed by WRRC!

(246) The Presidium approved the following changes of the WRRC calendar:
– Budapest 2025 – Open European Championship RR MCCS instead of World Cup with no limitation of participants and ranking points
– Budapest 2025 – European Championship RR Girls formation instead of World Cup
– Bochum 2026 – application approved; competition added to calendar
– Budapest 2026 – application approved; competition added to calendar
– FREE DATE(S) SPRING 2026 – May 30, 2026 and June 20, 2026
– Geneve 2026 and 2028 – application approved; competition added to calendar
– Prague 2027 – application approved; competition added to calendar

The Presidium discussed the newly introduced international open events since some of the rules were not clear and some additional specifications are needed.
It must be clear to everyone that 2025 is a test period when the need appeared because there were no events in the spring part of the season.

(242) The following changes were approved for International Open competitions
– The IO can only be organized for the categories which are eligible for WC final and
are included in the ranking
– The required 50% of judges with WRRC licence must come from different countries
– The factor 0.2 will be applicable if the number of couples is 7 or less and 0.4 if there
are more than 7 couples
– It is not possible to organize an IO on the same weekend as regular WRRC event, it
is not possible to organize two IO events on the same weekend

(243) The Presidium decided upon new applications for International Open

Application Croatia – 30.03.2025
– Children, Juveniles, Couple Dance Show, MCCS, MCFS
NOT APPROVED, BECAUSE IT IS THE SAME WEEKEND AS PRAGUE
o Application Poland – 14.06.2025
– Children, Juveniles, Juniors, MCCS, MCFS, GF, SGF, SLF
APPROVED FOR RR JUVELINES, JUNIORS MC CS, MC FS
o Application Hungary – 22.06.2025
– Juveniles, MCFS
NOT APPROVED, BECAUSE IT IS THE SAME WEEKEND AS WRRC EVENT IN BUDAPEST

The Sports director presented the proposal of judges’ distribution for 2025. Sometimes there are challenges for events where WRRC only nominates the country and not a judge by name.

(244) The Presidium generally approved the distribution table, but the judging commission should review the directly appointed names.

5. Boogie Woogie

Aina Nygaard joined the meeting to discuss the points regarding Boogie Woogie.
She introduced several ideas from Boogie Woogie Commission:
– To have an online meeting on Monday before the competition with the judges appointed to the competition
– To organize online “seminars” for dancers and coaches to explain the changes and answer questions
– To make some changes for the World Cup final to motivate Boogie Woogie couples to attend – to introduce hope round, to only have jam session for the 1st place – > these are still ideas to be decided by Presidium
– She also pointed out that the new competition structure is not OK for Boogie Woogie community

6. Other topics

The Presidium discussed possible changes to the structure of competitions fees to make them more acceptable for potential organizers. Further discussion will follow.

The Presidium discussed the updates of the WRRC home page. The VP for communication must gain access to backend tools of our home page.

The meeting was closed on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 19:15. The minutes include also additional online decissions.
