WDSF Policy Amendments Concerning Belarusian Participants

The World Rock’n’Roll Confederation (WRRC) would like to inform its members about a recent decision by the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) Presidium concerning updates to its Operating Policy on Belarusian participants.

WDSF has announced that, following updated guidance from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the previously applied restrictions and neutrality requirements for Belarusian athletes, officials, and support personnel have been removed.

As a result, Belarusian participants may once again take part in WDSF competitions under the applicable WDSF rules and regulations.

WDSF also confirmed that the current restrictions relating to Russian athletes, officials, and related personnel remain in force and unchanged.

WRRC notes this development and will continue to monitor any implications for the broader DanceSport and Rock’n’Roll community.
