WRRC World Cup Final 2025 – Information for Competitors and Coaches

Dear Competitors and Coaches,

The WRRC World Cup Final is approaching, and we want to provide some key details regarding the event. Please read this information carefully and ensure compliance with all guidelines to ensure a smooth competition.

Registration Details

Schedule:

• Friday, December 5, 2025: 14:00 – 21:00 at Sports and Entertainment Hall “Suche Stawy” (Tadeusza Ptaszyckiego St. 4, 30-979 Krakow)
• Saturday, December 6, 2025: 08:30 onwards at the competition hall

Important:

• All couples, including seeded ones, must register before the start of the event.
• Seeded couples should be present in the competition hall and prepared to compete in the qualification round if the number of couples is fewer than 16.
• All payments (starting fee, hotel, transport, meals, tickets) should preferably be made by bank transfer. In exceptional cases, cash payment at the registration office is possible – please inform the organizer in advance via email.

Spider System Principles

• If 15 or fewer couples participate, the First round will proceed without seeded couples with the available number of couples. Same rule applies for number of couples less than 8 or 4. After first round, Spider system will start. Any missing couple in a battle round will automatically result in their opponent advancing.

 

Seeded couple rules:

• If there are 16 or more couples present, seeded couples will be used.
• Seeded couples are selected by name from the Top 6 ranked couples on the WRRC World Cup Ranking list (first ones on the ranking list web page). If somebody from these 6 couples is not present, there are no substitutes (couple on Ranking No. 7 cannot be seeded), there will just be fewer seeded couples and reserved places in Spider round will be filled with top qualifiers from First rounds.

Open Format Reminder

Per the WRRC Presidium decision, this year’s World Cup Final is run as an open event: all couples may participate without restriction (open entry). Please ensure all athletes understand the specific format and rules for the World Cup Final and prepare accordingly.

Deadlines and Requirements

• Registration Timing: Ensure timely registration as per the schedule above.
• Starting Fees: Pay by bank transfer before arrival (deadline was 22.11.2025). In exceptional cases, pay at registration – as organizer stated in the documents.
• Additional Trainers: Additional fees apply for extra trainers accompanying the team.

Competition Guidelines

• Event Format: The competition will adhere to the WRRC Spider system, with KO battles starting after qualification round.
• Absence of a Couple: In case of no-shows during KO rounds, the other couple advances automatically.

Important Reminders

Presence in the Hall:

• All participants must strictly follow the schedule, particularly those in categories relying on WRRC ranking rules for seeding.

Dressing Rooms: Keep areas clean and follow guidelines to avoid penalties.

Diplomas: Remember to collect your diplomas.

• Live results will be available through wrrc.dance
• Live stream link will be available through wrrc.dance and on the organizer’s website rocknroll.pl

Prize Claim Requirements

All participants eligible for prize money must complete the Prize Claim Form available here – https://wrrc.org/documents/general/PrizeClaimForm_WRRC_WorldCup_2025.pdf

Submit the completed form to the following email addresses:

Note: The form must also be provided during registration in paper form. Prize payments will be processed via bank transfer to the individual accounts of the winners within 30 days after verification by the WRRC VP Finance.

Reminder: If your national federation has not yet submitted the claim for participation in the World Championship, please do so no later than December 10, 2025. Claims submitted after this deadline will not be accepted!
