Dear Competitors and Coaches,

The WRRC World Cup Final is approaching, and we want to provide some key details regarding the event. Please read this information carefully and ensure compliance with all guidelines to ensure a smooth competition.

1. Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, December 7, 2024
• Location: Športna dvorana Dobrova, Cesta 7. maja 20, Dobrova, Slovenia.

2. Registration Details

• Schedule:
  • Friday, December 6, 2024: 18:00 – 22:00 at M Hotel (Derceva 4, Ljubljana).
  • Saturday, December 7, 2024: 08:30 – 10:00 at the competition hall.
• Important:
  • All couples, including seeded ones, must register before the start of the event.
  • Seeded couples should be present in the competition hall and prepared to compete in the qualification round if the number of couples is fewer than 16.

3. Spider System Principles:

• If 15 or less couples participate, the First round will proceed without seeded couples with the available number of couples. Same rule applies for number of couples less than 8 or 4. After first round, Spider system will start. Any missing couple in a battle round will automatically result in their opponent advancing.
• Seeded couple rules:
  If there is 16 or more couples present, seeded couples will be used.
• Seeded couples are selected by name from the Top 6 ranked couples on WRRC Ranking list. If somebody from this 6 couples is not present, there is no substitutes (couple on Ranking No. 7 can’t be seeded), there will just be less seeded couples and reserved places in Spider round will be filled with top qualifiers from First rounds.

• Seeded Couples Status:
  On 3.12. 24, there are no seeded for RR MCFS, BW Seniors, BW Juniors. Some other disciplines are on the limit, please be sure you are in the hall on time.

5. Deadlines and Requirements

• Registration Timing: Ensure timely registration as per the schedule above. Late registrations will not be entertained.
• Starting Fees: Pay at registration.
• Additional Trainers: Additional fees apply for extra trainers accompanying the team.

6. Competition Guidelines

• Event Format: The competition will adhere to the WRRC Spider system, with KO battles starting from the quarterfinals.
• Absence of a Couple: In case of no-shows during KO rounds, the other couple advances automatically.

7. Important Reminders

• Presence in the Hall:
  All participants must adhere strictly to the schedule, particularly those in MCFS and other categories relying on WRRC ranking rules.
• Dressing Rooms: Keep areas clean and follow guidelines to avoid penalties.
• Diplomas and Winner Ceremony: Remember to collect your diplomas and remain in competition attire until the end of the event.

8. Live result and video stream of the competition

• Live results will be available through wrrc.dance
• Live stream link will be available through wrrc.dance

9. Prize Claim Requirements

• All participants eligible for prize money must complete the Prize Claim Form available here – https://wrrc.org/documents/general/PrizeClaimForm_WRRC_WorldCup_2024.pdf
• Submit the completed form to the following email addresses:

Note: The form must also be transmitted during registration in paper form. Prize payments will be processed via bank transfer to the individual accounts of the winners within 30 days after verification by the WRRC VP Finance.
