Dear President, Dancers, Officials, Trainers
Bellow you can find some important information for the year 2019!
1. REGISTRATION OF DANCERS, COUPLES AND FORMATIONS
The renewal of the WRRC registrations of your couples, dancers, formations will be shorter as usually, because first competition in 2019 will start already in February (Valbonne – 23.02.2019). As previous years, we will open the Fast Registration Protocol (FRP), where you will have the opportunity to register your dancers, couples and formations in package:

The fast registration process is the same as last year, so you can start using it at once. On the front page of the Registration toll there is the short description of the procedures. Please read it carefully and proceed as instructed there.
When deciding to delete a couple or a dancer please make sure you don’t want to see the data anymore in the database. If the couple/dancer/formation is not active, just leave them without registration and they will not be visible on the active sides, but they will remain in the database
The FRP will be active until 25.01.2019. After that the process will be closed and you will need to reactivate the remaining dancers one by one. After the FRP is closed you will be able to add new dancers, couples, formations and register your team members for competitions that follow in 2019.
After the FRP is closed, you will be also able to start using the registration of acrobatic elements for the Main Class Free Style and Main Class Contact Style Couples. There were some changes in the values of the acrobatic elements in all classes, so we will delete all previously stored acrobatic programs. Please make sure that you register the programs for couples MCFS and MCCS, as well as for Formations Main Class, before you make the announcement on the competition in Krakow (06-07.04.2019)!
2. VALID AGE GROUPS IN 2019
The valid age groups for 2019 are listed below:

| RR Juniors (12-17): | born between 2002 and 2007 |
| RR “B” class (14+): | born 2005 or older |
| RR Main class (15+): | born 2004 or older |
| RR formations Juniors (11-17): | born between 2002 and 2008 exception: max. two dancers can be born from 2000-2001 |
| RR formations Main class: | born 2004 or older |
| RR Couple Dance Show (14+/18+): | younger born 2005 or older, older born 2001 or older |
| RR Girls Formations (8-15): | born between 2004 and 2011 |
| RR Ladies Formations (14+):: | born 2005 or older |
| BW Juniors (13-17): | born between 2002 and 2006 |
| BW Main class (16+): | born 2003 or older |
| BW Formations (16+): | born 2003 or older |
| BW Seniors (35+/40+): | younger born 1984 or older, older born 1979 or older |
| LH Juniors (13-17): | born between 2002 and 2006 |
| LH Main class (16+): | born 2003 or older |
| LH Seniors (35+/40+): | younger born 1984 or older, older born 1979 or older |
| Bugg/Trio Show Juniors (08-17): | born between 2002 and 2006 |
| Bugg/Trio show Main class (14+): | born 2005 or older |

Prices for registration fee in 2019:
- Registration fee for participants, per person and year 25€
- Registration fee for formations, per person and year 5€
Clarification: If one person is dancing in couples and formations, both fees must be paid.
3. ROCK’N’ROLL CHILDREN AND ROCK’N’ROLL JUVENILES
Following the decision of the General Meeting 2018, RR Juveniles category shall be divided:
- CHILDREN: 8 – 11 years
- The couple who has already competed in Juveniles, can’t come back in Children (valid for the events from 01.01.2019!)
- following competitions are not organized for Children: World and Continental Championship, final World cup
- acrobatic elements: SAFETY LEVEL 5
- Rotations of more than 180° around the body’s lateral or sagittal axis are not allowed.
- Figures are allowed only if one partner can perform them alone or if there is permanent contact between the ground and at least one foot.
- JUVENILES: 10 – 14 years
- following competitions are not organized for Juveniles: World and Continental Championship
- acrobatic elements: SAFETY LEVEL 4
- 2 acrobatic elements are obligatory from 2 possible groups according to SL4, counted as dance figures
- GROUPS:
- LIFTS IN VERTICAL BODY POSITION
- Specificity: without pose
- Allowed grip: on partner’s waist
- Safety level: hips not higher than shoulder’s height of the supporting partner
- HANDSTAND ACROBATIC ELEMENT AND EVOLUTIONS
- Specificity: acrobatic elements with 360 degrees of rotation
- Allowed grip: constant grip AND contact with the floor
- Examples: walkover backward or forward, cartwheel, handstand variations…
4. ROCK’N’ROLL JUNIORS
4 acrobatic elements are obligatory from 6 possible groups according to SAFETY LEVEL 3:
- LIFTS FROM JUMP, WITH CONSTANT GRIP
- STATIC BODY POSTURE FROM LIFT
- SOMERSAULT ACROBATICS
Specificity : acrobatic elements with 360 degrees of rotation
Allowed grip : constant grip and contact with the floor + EXCEPTIONAL FIGURES (München)
(walk-over backward or forward, cartwheel, handstand) - NON-FLYING ELEMENTS
Teller, spiral - ACROBATIC ELEMENTS STARTING FROM THE WAIST
shalom, horse - OTHER (EXCEPTIONAL) ELEMENTS
COMBINATIONS: elements in combination count as obligatory elements groups. Only one combination is allowed in a program
TRANSITION PERIOD: one year without penalty for missing groups; only the number of acrobatic elements will be controlled. During the transition period, maximum possible number of points for acrobatic will be 5 points. Division of points for Juniors:
- Basic step (Girl/boy)_ 10 + 10 = 20
- Acrobatics: 5
- Dance figures: 20
- Choreography and dance performance: 20
TOTAL: 65
5. REVISION OF THE ACROBATIC ELEMENTS FOR 2019 (RR MAIN CLASS FREE STYLE, MAIN CLASS CONTACT STYLE, MAIN CLASS FORMATIONS)
New version of Acro-calculator for 2019 is available both as public version, and official version inside the WRRC-Registration system. The Sport Commission made a revision of the complete catalog for the Main Class Free Style and Main Class Contact Style acrobatics, and added several new special acrobatic elements for the Main Class Formations)

6. FORMATIONS
Following the decision of the General Meeting 2018, Ladies and Girls Formations shall dance:
- Ladies and Girls Formations:
- Short program: Length of music: 1:30 – 1:45
- Long program Length of music: 2:15 – 2:30
Long program shall be danced in semifinal and final
- Juniors Formations: Length of music: 2:15 – 2:30
Acrobatic elements:
- Ladies Formations: WRRC Safety Level 2 must be adhered to.
- Girls Formations: WRRC Safety Level 3 must be adhered to
- Juniors Formations: WRRC Safety Level 3 must be adhered to

7. APPLICATION FOR EVENTS 2019 AND LATER
If you want to organize a WRRC international event, you have to send your application at least one year in advance for World and Continental Championships, and 9 months in advance for other events.

- European Ch. RR Formations Ladies
- World Ch. RR Formations Girls
- World Ch. RR Formations Main Class
- World Cup Final 2019
